Ash Hand Carved Painted Bowl

This piece of Ash was nothing to write home about sitting in my shop until I started carving the body and texturing the rim. I then spent days ebonising the outside, coat after coat to deepen the colour of the grain, then I bronzed the inside, what you have after all that is stunning functional work of art…
